Mission

Sensational news coverage of criminal cases has directed attention to us both in and outside Austria. Dr. Gerald Ganzger from our firm took on the case of Natascha Kampusch, a victim of a kidnapping and represented the victims and relatives of the fire catastrophe of the Kaprun glacier train. He also conducted the proceedings related to the mining accident that took place in the small village of Lassing. Dr. Gabriel Lansky, the founder of our law firm, has already worked actively in criminal law since the 1980s and provided advise on matters related to commercial and criminal law in significant cases (e.g., the Austrian insurance company Bundesländerversicherung, the gold coin scandal). And there are a number of successful proceedings before the European Court for Human Rights in Strasbourg that round off our profile.

At present not only individuals but also companies are confronted with ever tighter criminal norms and an intensification of monitoring by the authorities. LGP is able to do justice to the increased complexity of criminal law by pursuing an interdisciplinary approach. We are well qualified thanks to our unique team made up of experienced defense lawyers, criminal law practitioners and scholars all dedicated to finding the best solution to legal issues in these areas:
